After being a student of yoga for over a decade, Amber received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification the summer of 2015. Amber is a dedicated yogi, healer, and therapist who found her dharma (life purpose) holding sacred space for others. She believes deeply in the healing power of yoga and infuses a holistic perspective to her yoga classes. Her years of training in body/mind/energy therapies has led her to understand the practice of yoga can assist the yogi in releasing emotional blockages, shift negative thought patterns, and increase overall well being. Amber’s intention is to create a safe space for her students to dive inward and nurture their divine inner spark. She encourages the student to explore their personal relationship with the mind/body/spirit connection through the synchronization of breath and movement. As the breath becomes more in tune with movement, it not only strengthens the body, but brings focus and clarity to mind, grounding you firmly into the present moment. Each class Amber guides students through a gentle asana practice and often incorporates pranayama, mantra, meditation, and energy healing practices.
