In 2002, while looking towards a beautiful California mountain, I experienced my first yoga practice. Rising from shavasana with tears in my eyes, I knew yoga was something I needed to explore further and incorporate into my life. Since then, thanks to the guidance of many knowledgeable teachers and much self-study, my practice has evolved and continues to do so each time I step on my mat. I believe the practice of yoga is much like a living organism; requiring attention, air, and light to grow and flourish. Sharing what I’ve learned from yoga with others, is a joyful privilege. I encourage those who practice with me to connect with their bodies and minds and to then take their practice off the mat and into their lives. I am honored to share stewardship of the Living Yoga Center with my husband Steven. |
