On the yoga mat Maggie creates a learning environment where students can focus and go deep, while still smiling! She sees herself as a catalyst for both inner and outer  transformation of the Self. Through this, work on the Self, students can train their muscles, (physical muscles as well as those muscles of the head, heart and spirit) to best support all the challenges life presents. Students can expect to experience a variety of asana, mantra, pranayana and sometimes meditation. Her classes are upbeat and include options to explore all ability levels.

Maggie has been practicing yoga and meditating for over fifteen years and has been teaching for seven years. She spent 2007 in New Delhi, India where she practiced yoga daily under the leadership of local instructors. She is currently certified at the 200 hr level, but has over 400 additional hours of training. She is a life long practitioner and is currently continuing her studies at the Shravana School of Yoga. Maggie is grateful to have had the pleasure of studying with amazing teachers including: Christina Sell, Darren Rhodes, John Friend, Tomoko Horikawa, Rita Knorr, Amy Ippoliti, and Jay Fields. Maggie can also be seen around town on her bicycle, gardening, playing acroyoga, working at the library, chanting and eating some yummy local food.
