Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week course that teaches you how to calm your body and mind by purposefully paying attention to how your body feels, your emotions, your thoughts, and your surroundings. Research studies show that MBSR is effective in helping people cope with illness, pain, and stress. Mindfulness meditation techniques will be taught and practiced in a safe, supportive, and engaging class environment.
