Nia is a glorious mix of dance, martial arts and healing practices that connect your mind and body, and spirit. Nia is for everyone–all bodies, shapes, sizes and ages. You’ll dance, move, laugh, shake, shimmy and put pleasure into your workout!
Experience Nia in this workshop designed specifically for beginners. We’ll introduce the Nia principles, learn the foundational movements of Nia and get moving in a classic 55 minute Nia class. We dance and move in bare feet, but soft clean shoes are optional. All levels of fitness are welcome and no experience is required.
Beth Giles loves to dance and share the Nia Technique. She discovered Nia in 2004 and became a Nia teacher in 2012. She teaches Nia classes, offers workshops and private sessions. Beth thrives on the fun and freedom of dancing Nia and empowers her students to move in their bodies’ way. For her, dancing Nia daily is energy medicine for a healthy, joyful and loving life.
