Intro Series With Steve & Sharon Tuesdays January 8-29, 2019 5:30-6:45 pm Or 7:15-8:30 pm This four-week series will introduce the beginner to Hatha yoga fundamentals and serve as a springboard to begin a regular yoga practice. ChairYoga ~10-Week Series~ With Steve Tuesdays January 15-March 19, 201912:00 – 1:00pm
Chair yoga is a gentle yet challenging style of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. The poses (asanas) are adaptations of classic Hatha poses. Join Steve in this 10-week series to learn and experience yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and ways of relaxation, with the aid of a chair. Trauma-Informed Yoga Workshop With Hannah Ramlo January 26 1:00-3:30 pm  This workshop is designed to be most impactful for yoga teachers, but is also open to group fitness instructors, practitioners of other healing arts, social workers, direct service providers, teachers, and others eager to learn about how trauma may affect the lives of those they work with and mindfulness tools they can implement to move towards healing. $40.00 per person Space is limited. Donation Based Practices at The Living Yoga Center

Yoga Gives Sundays 4:00-5:00 pm
On most Sundays from 4-5:00 pm, we offer Yoga Gives, a yoga practice designed to rejuvenate the spirit, invigorate the mind, strengthen the body, and open the heart.  These are donation based classes which means there is no class fee although a minimum donation of $5.00 is suggested.  Every month a local not-for-profit organization will be the recipient of the collected donations.
Mindful Meditation Mondays 4:30-5:00 pm & Wednesdays 7:15-7:45 pm (currently on hiatus)
Present moment awareness can be elusive and we often find ourselves distracted or lost in thought. Through the training and practice of mindful meditation we can discover a calm amidst our to-do lists and more fully appreciate the gift of each day. Mindful Meditation is a donation-based gathering (pay what you feel is right for you) and is open to the entire community.

mobile YOGA is an outreach program offering yoga to Champaign County businesses and organizations with the goal of bringing our nurturing sanctuary to their work or meeting place.  Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about mobile YOGA.
