108 Sun Salutes for the New Year w/Maggie Sunday December 29 12:00-1:30 pm

Join in this annual tradition as we salute the sun 108 times! Yes, you read that right-108 is a sacred number across many traditions. Repeating asanas this many times tends to cultivate a meditative state, much like chanting mantras again and again. Of course, you don’t have to do 108 salutations to participate in this event. You could meditate on your mat or volunteer to count the beads and keep us on track. If you’d like to bring a special object to place and see on the alter each time you lookup, please do! (Regular class fees apply)

Kirtan w/Band of Bhavanii 7:30-8:30 pm (Last Friday of most months)
Kirtan is call-and-response chanting (singing) practiced as part of India’s bhakti yoga devotional tradition. For those who find meditation challenging, kirtan is a form of mantra meditation set to music. Singing the mantra can be a way to lull our minds into quiet and deeper experiences of ourselves. Lyric sheets will be provided and no previous musical experience is necessary. A donation-based gathering, just bring yourself and an open mind.

Our Schedule and Teachers are subject to change.

Please visit our Class Schedule for the most current class times, teachers and class descriptions.
