Ariel did not start out as a practitioner of yoga, but began her fitness journey as a young child competing in triathlons with her father until the age of 20. Starting to realize that triathlons weren’t a way to keep her body going, she turned to yoga in her college years. Taking a yoga class here and there, it wasn’t until she came to Amara that she began to practice yoga as a part of her daily routine. Getting deeper into yoga, Ariel completed her yoga teacher training 200-hour certification through Amara Yoga and Arts in May 2015. Ariel believes that yoga is a journey in which she can see her life transform.

Everyday she intakes information about her mind and body, and see how she can continue to grow. Ariel allows yoga guide her body to address its needs. Every class Ariel leads gives the body time to see and fulfill its physical and mental potential by incorporating breath work, focus on alignment, and meditation into each practice. Ariel likes her students to leave her practice with their mind free from the noise of the outside world which creates space for what’s to come.
